Not finding a thread in which to mention it, I thought it might be an idea to have a miscellaneous NSW sightings thread for those one-off type things ...
To start the ball rolling, saw an Interail 423 (42302 I think, but could be wrong) go light engine through Granville (towards Clyde) this arvo ... I had a camera on me (well, my wife did), but it caught me by surprise and didn't get a pic.
Anyone know where she was going from/to?
-----
While I'm at it, I also saw in the ARG compound two Ls side by side - one Interail, and one ARG. Immediatly outside the compound were 8144 and 48164
Also in Clyde yard were X48, X52, and a PN coloured X (X5?):
A good variety of colour in a small space.
On a more unusual note was a NPRY cement hopper on the Maintrain side of the main lines.

QRN Interail G534, 42107 (in load box road), CLF1
CFCLA KLs 80, 81, 82, T387, B76
SSR S317, and another Bulldog of some description, T383, T363

Probably a few others too, I'll edit this when I get a chance to go have a look.

It has now moved and has a partner in crime - there's one Railcorp orange 48 at either end of the shed that the AK cars are kept in - spacing between them seems to be about 3 AK cars in length ... couldn't tell what was inbetween though.

This morning that funny looking self-propelled track recording unit whizzed by Ashfield towards Central - can't remember the code (LS039?), but it had wedge shaped cabs at both ends.

Cheers for that - was fairly confident on the 039, but couldn't remember the letters.
Was quite a surprise for this (at the time) half asleep gunzel.
