The museum is now no longer open to visitors on Saturdays. It is open to the public Sundays, 1pm-4pm (last Sunday of month: 11am-4pm).

42101, its difficult to open a museum to visitors when you do not have enough volunteers to do it properly.

And on the subject of the rail museum, ACTION has now cut back the 39 bus which stops near the museum to being an hourly Monday-Friday only service, This means there is now NO form of public transport to the museum on a weekend (when it's actually open Mad), and the nearest bus stop at the Railway Staton is about 15 minutes walk away Sad

Perhaps I should complain to ACTION? Razz

Is it worth complaining, after all it's all this part of the cost cutting thing. I wish you luck.

Why is it that the ARHS ACT and RTM are both under fire with the press and members of this forum? NOT EVERYTHING CAN BE RESTORED AT THE MOMENT!

In fact, the reason for cut opening times and the like is because people like you give the museum a bad name. Quit it.

A Useless Statement.
