Alos TrainNo815, I have seen that site many times but thanks anyway...
Because it is a private business and in the research and work required to change theses details isn't going to sell more book then and make bigger profits then face it aint going to happen
If you want it to happen so bad buy Ausway and do it because that is the only way you will ever see it
Let me put it in perspective for all of you
THERE IS MORE CHANCE OF FINDING AN S CLASS UNDER MT. NEWPORT THAN GETTING AUSWAY TO ADD MORE DETAIL TO RAILWAY INFRASTRUCTURE
end of stroy

The Doncaster line can be seen in the first ever melway and ive also seen it in the 1975 edition going down the freeway but after that it stops being marked

The Doncaster line is marked in the 1978 Melway but vanished by the 1984 edition.
As for the bus stops, they would be useful if marked so you can look in advance and see where they are. Maybe they can be little blue dots on the sides of the roads? Though the map would get crowded if there were alot of bus routes on the same map.

Knowitall: Ok understood. Just didn't realise it was so corporate...
Would anyone be able to scan a picture of the Doncaster Rail Line? Only if it's not too much of a hassle... I'm intrigued

Useless. It would be more trouble than anything else. What happens when you have several routes down the one street, and different stops applying to each route, as is the case in many parts of Melbourne?
Melway is a street directory... why do we need all these useless public transport add-ons for? We've got stations marked, we've got tram and bus routes marked in detail, thats all we need.

From the 1979 Melway (Edition 12):

Hey! That's the one! I mentioned it earlier... You got a copy! ![]()
It is interesting to see White City on the map, next to Tottenham as well.

You mean like this:

Interesting to see those freight lines as well as White City.

On that map, do I see a proposed branch to the Outer Circle line? That isn't in edition 11 but in edition 12. Does that route follow the outer circle line?
Scratch that. It looks like a road.

Its a proposed chandler highway realignment that i think never got off paper.

If there were any....

PalmerEldritch: Thank you so much! Know I know everything ![]()
