6 days later and still scrolling across the screen. When is something going to be done about this? Not everyone has a bloody 17 inch monitor.
We can only deal with what we see. Please tell us some that you are having troubles with and we'll attempt to find a resolution.

I did message a moderator a few weeks ago and heard nothing so I did say something about it. It is a pain in the rear end to have to scroll back and forth, and these images are totally unnecessary. Alink would be good enough. Not all are a pain, but the longer ones are totally annoying. Thank you.

If it suits you, would you mind PM'ing me the moderator you contacted as well as some of the images you are having troubles with. If you do this, I'll chase it up for you.

Webslave, further to Igor's comments above, go have a Capt. Cook @ the Democracy thread in the lounge. I was very interested in reading the posts in this thread, but by the time I was halfway thru I totally lost interest coz of having to scroll left & right all the time!! Mad As Igor pointed out, not all of us have 17" monitors. It would be good if something could be done about this problem; I'm sure that Igor & I aren't the only ones who find this vexing.

Sure, I'll go have a look now. As a convinience (I run in high res, so it makes it easier coz I never have to scroll almost) would you mind also PM'ing me the names of the users whom you are having troubles with the sig sizes of?

I have found that I don't have any problems with images in sigs of excessive size when viewing with lynx.

Can we get this enforced, some are getting a bit big and making it slow for thoes who can only get dial-up due to Tel$tra's smeggy phone lines.

I'd like to find out if anyone thinks this is too big in filesize for the general public (and not just one perticular admin).

Comments please.

Image is 41.7kb. Over three times the max allowed size.

The issue that has been raised regarding my image is file size, not height or width.

I've made a test one with a Z3 desto instead of an A class one, which turns out to be 17kb...

Hoping that is more acceptable.
