What about me? I'm only turning 12 this year.

What about you?
You see the rules. Obey them.

Yes Sir!

Call for Final Nominations, 2007
Bogie Nominations have been open since 26 September 2006, generally, in most bogie threads.
We call for final nominations now, and close them off around 15 September and open the polls for voting. Voting is open until the votes dwindle to a trickle; a final reminder is posted, and then the polls are closed and the winners declared.
Here are the guidelines for this category:
http://www.railpage.com.au/f-p641808.htm#641808
For Young Member of the Year
The Young Member you most like on Railpage since 26 September 2006
Eligible for nomination: anyone under 18 or who turns 18 during the year.
The Young Member may not nominate themselves. However, if there are some new, young people, who would like to give a hint about their age in this thread, that would be acceptable.

For Young Member of the Year
The Young Member has to be under the age of 18 during voting (mid September).
Bugger, Guss misses out. He turns 18 in a few hours.

If Haydenthegunzel cares to confirm he is eligible in this category then I shall nominate him.
It is always good to see keen new members arrive and take a positive role in posting and contributions, and without the attitude which too often seems to pervade the posts of some younger (and a few not-so-young) members.

Evan C for being informative, and able to laugh at the same time.

i'M only 11.

As the reigning (and now ineligible
) Young Member of the Year bogie holder, I second this nomination!

A big thumbs up for haydenthegunzel. Despite with his first week or two feeling the need to start a new thread every thirty minutes or so, and small obssesion with B class tram swaps between Preston & Brunswick, as well as vicsig updates, Hayden has/ is developing into a fine contributor amongst the Tram & Light Rail & Melbourne Suburban forums, and one whose posts I often look forward to reading.

I nominate Taitset, it has always amazed me how early he got into gunzelling, makes me wish I did the same.

[edit="574M"] He's eligible. See above. [/edit]
Is that a nomination? ![]()

I nominate Guss.
There done.

Nominations closed. Any further nominations go to 2008

Young Member of the Month - September
vlinecars, received an invite to the launch of the new livery and first run. This is more than innovative, it is an acknowledgment that railfanning, and particularly works like that of the vlinecars website, are both useful and an apt, historical record of the day to day operations. Well done, Matt. See http://www.vlinecars.com/fleetrefurb/launch.htm

Young Member of the Month - October
Taitset's thread on Artificial Motion (for his HSC folio) blur started a somewhat creative thread about Photoshop techniques he used, and others tried to achieve the same thing. Interesting work by one of our young members. Somewhat reminds us of the bloopers picture thread we used to have. http://www.railpage.com.au/f-t11335252-s0-0-asc.htm

Young Member of the Month - November
The Met for his work on the four bidders for the Connex Franchise, up for grabs: See http://www.railpage.com.au/f-p950933.htm#950933

I am 9 and a half.
Henry, the rules are that you don't nominate yourself,
You understand that, OK?
I'll leave this here in case someone else wants to nominate you.

I would like to nominate Henry for January because:
*He has helped me alot with little errors in the Hunter Valley Meet PDF.
*He did such a great job on his website which so-far has given me hours of entertainment through the some-what boring holidays.
*He is always open for a chit-chat and I must say is a very mature kid which is something I envy in him, wish I had of started growing up sooner ![]()
Tom

Young Member of the Month - December
flathog, for producing the PDF file for the intinerary for the Hunter Valley Meet!

Young Member of the Month - January
pheonics, for his narrative of the Gembrook Mixed.

I'd like to nominate Chovies5910 for his maturity and his great photos.

I can definately see some talent in this member in the forecoming years!

I'll put a nomination for Hurstville1 in; he's a great guy to be out with, and a half-decent photographer too:
