    SRA_81  There were a couple of NR's in the window at The Orient Express here in adelaide when I was there last a couple of weeks ago, I would give them a call, and if that fails, call End of the line Hobbies down @ Victor Harbor.  I think they still have NR's too.

    You can get the IP NR Class from the GSR website - (Operators of the IP) - its the Austrains Model sold for "Memorabilia" off the train!

    Wanted

    Looking for a pair of buffers for the Austrains 442. Ie. if anyone is doing something to their Austrains 442 (converting it from a 442 to a JL/700), and may not require the buffers anymore. I originally purchased a set of brass ones from Casula Hobbies, but they do not fit the Austrains 442. So preferably looking for a set pulled off from another Austrains 442 by someone who doesn't need it anymore. Needed for the Tuscan 44211 project.

    I do kits of the AK cars in HO. There are photos of asssembled kits on the fotopic site below and prices etc are on the business site. Not difficult to assemble and there's nothing tricky about the paint scheme.

    Currently not in stock but can be cast to order some time in October.

    what type of glue can be used on your kits is MEK ok to use?

    They are polyurethane kits so require superglue for assembly. MEK won't work.

    The kits include bogies (AR Kits), couplers (Kadee), decals etc. The one thing that isn't included is a pantograph for the recorder car (because I never found a suitable model panto).

    AR Kits do the NSW BBW/NHWF ballast hoppers http://www.arkits.com/files/ar_rollingstock.php

    If you want the CHQY type or CHRY type get an Athearn (ex Roundhouse) PS 2003 two bay covered hopper, remove the roof and make some minor alterations and paint and decal and you have one of these yellow or grey hoppers.  Very Happy

    TrainOrama have advised they will be re-running the Pullman cars with with some improvements over the originals.

    Hi,

    If anyone has an powerline 48 class they don't want or are looking to sell. could you please PM. Prefer it to not be new as it is for a repaint and i don't want to wreck a new model.
