1. The carriage in question is HFA 703
2. The carriage was built as an MFE, rebuilt to a HFE and and again rebuilt to it's present design as an HFA

Historical Note 1076 was built as 1804.
Changed to 1076 when it was converted to a crane tank. When the jib was removed it retained this number. Funnily enough it features in 'Days of Steam' as wel ... |

They are technically helping 5917 Syndicate which in turns does enable 3801 Ltd. to recieve the locomotive.

There is about 0% chance of 5908 or 5916 steaming again. They are pretty much buggered beyond fixing. Possibly restoration to Static with a face lift in the future but not steaming.

The last photo shows the last surviving CCA car.
Not quite - one at the RTM as well. Still does not diminish it's historical significance, however. |

what would stop a ultra long term RTM plan to rebuild a new 58 class..
I dont know, maybe because they a are a piece of smeg! The 58 was useless in the steam era and would be even more useless-a ... |

Correct, but DSRM own 1903 and 1923. Both groups could have a 19 class operating.
It's actually 1904, and no, DSRM don't own it. Private owner. |
