Yep it said City Via - Elizabeth Street.
I was wondering why it did not say City Via North Melbourne 57.
It must have been going to city via Flemington Road and Elizabeth Street instead of North Mel ...

One Siemens I was on a few months ago had the North Melbourne announcement sounding like the ALSTOM lady a bit.

"Airless"? Has this guy heard about opening a window? After all, that is the only Cooling down feature on Hitachi apart from tinted windows on refurbished model.

Sorry to dig this up - saw pic of Xtrap in Broghton Beach sidings yesterday - Tuesday at Vicsig. Photo caption said it was on VICERS test or something. Set was 955M-1678T-956M-894M-1647T-893M.
