I dont know turntables but it looks like the locking pins/rods have been modified on the loco shed end so it is always locked ie. cut and an extra 5 inches of bar welded in.

I may be completely wrong ...

Being a volunteer at a preservation society so to speak and having projects which you had inputs into no matter it was big or small... the fact it is recognized by the whole rail indust ...
