Well, they'll pay the price by not having enough railcars available to keep up the current service frequency if the Airport line opens.

I am currently staying in a hotel in Myki Zone 1. Nearest tram stop is Boundary Rd/Flemington Rd (Route 59) and the nearest Train station is Flemington Bridge.

The station was opened in 1968 - back then DMU's were running the train network and electrification would not occur until over 22 years later so I would say that it is desperately in need of upgrade o ...

You would notice a difference if it's a train you regularly travel on. I don't use it that often but 0803 from Clarkson on a school day is in serious need of 6 cars.
