Spotted an A7 Clyde builders plate on eBay and it got me thinking how many of these plates have survived and still out there after all these years? This plate is off S303, any chance SRHC would be int ...

They look great. Mine have not arrived yet Sad Do they come with the long shank couplers?

Thats great news. Wonder if any other loco's will be leaving the museum at Williamstown?

Yeah thanks for that, it's a great website. Still after the date it was cut up and total kms travelled so hoping someone out there has this info

Just wondering if anyone out there has any info/pics of GM15. I have found a few sites on the web but it seems that GM15 did not have a colourful history so not a lot of info is out there. I would lo ...

Some great first cars there. I am lucky enough to still own my first car. It was originally purchased by my father in 1977 and I purchased it off him in 1997 and restored it. My first ever car ride wa ...

Good on SSR regardless of the colour it ends up wearing. I hope that GM3 makes a quid for them. Spot on. At least SRHC did't get thier hands on it Razz

I've got two sets of these. I think I got them at the Aus Steam '88 display at Spencer St. I got two N class and six BN cars. One set is assembled as it came, the other I converted one BN to a BRN and ...

Anyway, do SRHC have a date which the train has to be removed by?

As a child, I remember that my mother came home from work one day with a cardboard V/line loco that you could fold and tape together. I am pretty sure they were N class locos in the original orange/g ...

I see that SRHC have various locos that they own and some that are alocated to them from the vic gov. Is it possible that proceeds from the preserved loco hire are being spent on getting their own u ...

SRHC love to loco hire so I am sure they can see the value in GM28 but where that value is is yet to be seen. I still think there may be a link between S310 and GM28 so one of them can hit the track ...

I am not sure if S310 has had it's bolster repairs completed and the GM class seems to not require these repairs. From what I have heard, it's not an cheap or easy job to be done. Maybe the costs in ...

My feeling that a deal might have been 'done in good faith' for restoration, but SRHC will just turn around and say oops, she's only good for parts, can't restore her.I am thinking the same thing.

How far away is GM28 mechanically from being at the point of a train again? I only ask as SRHC already have S310 and I would say that this loco is a lot closer to being track ready than GM28 is. Are ...
