Jeez calm the hell down people, I know as well as anyone that they can't pull buses out of their bums.

My comment was meant in the vein that it seemed that announcements were made that all was well ...

Buses replaced trains between Essendon and Broadmeadows.
The first down terminated at Essendon at 7.07am and formed the 7.16am up service from there.
Disruptions lasted a bit over an hour.
