| Other noticeable change is that on Xmas eve it is Wednesday timetable except for Geelong which is Friday timetable so the extra 0100 Dn runs. |

2000 ABC News reported a 35 year old man trapped under a V/Line train at North Melbourne has now sadly died .

The curve at the Down end of Lara sweeping around to the Canterbury Road lx allows 160kmh max for Vlocities with maximum allowable applied cant . This curve is of 1207m radius.
