Explain to me how linking three major rural towns Bendigo-Ballarat-Geelong makes less sense then the Mildura Line.

Considering that there is no truck/car bypass of Adelaide the hills project does have merit.When i drove back and forth to Elizabeth as i shocked at how many trucks run on the small Adelaide Roads.
