There's a few getting around on those lines.

I got a Glen Waverley Comeng from Southern Cross to Richmond one night last week about 4:45pm.

There are X'Traps in revenue service on the Frankston Line today.

There was an article in the Age last month in relation to the delay of more X'Trapolis trains being delivered to the Frankston Line. ...

I read about this last week but it certainly has been a quiet announcement.

Yet another order of 5 X'Traps to make 10 in total. Good announcement.... depending on where you live!

The travel time from the city to Frankston is about an hour. Baxter is only 7km further down the line.

We've all heard of "butt covering." This is another good example of it.

The operators were awarded an 8 year contract - effective Devember 2009.

This would mean they're set until the end of 2017.

Frankston services a lot more commuters than that of Sandringham, Williamstown and Glen Waverley for starters.

There's been a lot of weekend closures between Moorabbin/Mordialloc - Franksron and heaps of overhead power structures have been put in.

They look nice and new compared to the old brown rusted ones  ...

Frankston does run through the loop on weekdays in both peaks.

There are several stopping all stations City Loop services as well as Flinders Street express directs in the am

The Frankston Line X'Trapolis train is currently off the line and undergoing maintenance.

Will be returning on "around the 9th March" according to Metro in the Frankston Times
