quite frankly the Portland Line in its current form is a LEMON, there is no traffic, nothing is generated from the Portland end of the line, and at best if may see a dozen odd grain trains during the  ...

Maybe they mean the disused  facility at Somerton (Vampbelfield) which has all these SG sidings and is ab ideal spot for Port Shuttles.

Interesting to see how long the rail trail lasts, especially now that the land from astation St back to the quarry on the maroondah Hwy is all up for Sale, with housing in mind.
