Flying Donkey has it with Nundah.

The shot is unrepeatable today. Even if you could reassemble the train the location has changed completely due to the two mines in the vicinity and as far as I know it is no longer even accessable. At the time I took the shot (late 1970s) there was a road crossing close by.

Regards,

7334

Thanks 7334. The crossing is still there and is publicly accessible.

Goulburn it is! sandown has it.

4305 was on a Down freight arriving at Goulburn on 14/02/74. This was the only occasion that I saw a 43 south of Sydney. I was traveling on the Up Riverina Exp that day. I took the photo while my train was making its short tabled stop.

The whole photo (a mediocre camera shop scan of a mediocre slide).
