does any one know if M3 was ever a parktrain because ive heard thier may have been a park train at drew point on the outskirts of margate Question Question Question (i dont mean the magate train) Exclamation

M3 is at Don, its been there since the 70s i think. I think you mean M1 which was at Ross park. MA1 was at Granton before DVR got them. M3 was withdrawn from service in the 70s (it ran on the Centenary train) and DRR got hold of it from Launceston roundhouse. DRR was going to restore it but the firebox was stuffed so M4 got restored instead.

M3 was in use to 1975 woudnt think it would be bad. and i am not confused with the trains that used to be at granton or ross (good for the DVR!!!!)

You would be thinking of the shell from diesel shunter V7 that used to be at Dru Point near Margate.

Friendly suggestion time: In addition to the letter keys on your keyboard, you also have two "Shift" keys and a variety of punctuation keys. It makes posts a lot easier to read and understand if these are used where appropriate

V7 is now at the Derwent Valley Railway as well!
