In MSTS many of the locomotives share the same cabs, and some silly one's, such as the NSW 422 class has a high hood cab like a 49 class.
What are cabs like on this Tranz.
Also am I seing things, the game is under $50.00?
I paid over $80.00 for MSTS.
Also dose this game stuff up less to then MSTS.

Making cabs for either simulator and getting them to interact correctly with the game scripting is a hard task for anybody to acheive which is the answer as to why you see many engines sharing cabs or using cabs that are not quite prototypical. This type of question on the Auran forum and on any MSTS forums draws almost the same reseponse from both camps.
Cabs particularly the 3D built ones take an enormous amount of time to do correctly and often many modellers choose to expend their efforts into making a good game model rather than a cab which means extra time and expense to complete. Even being able to get cab shots today with all the added security is nigh impossible.
The in-cabs are good, not great, in TRS just like the default MSTS ones. The cabs that really shine are the 3rd party built cabs that are sold as payware and these add extra 'realisim' but also lighten your wallet too.
Yes, TRS is $49.95 retail, but was around $89.95 when first released, as was MSTS. MSTS can be purchased now for around $40 or even less on Ebay.
It'll stuff up as much as any other piece of GUI software that runs. Name one piece of software you use that doesn't have problems at some point ?
Most of the problems caused by TRS and also MSTS are user inflicted ones anyway.

Exactly - remove users from a system, and the system runs harmoniously
I can tell you from experience that making the 3d aspect of cabs is extremely difficult, and it tests your patience a lot - let alone the scripting side of it. I really can't be bothered going in to the same depth as Brentton did, so I'll just echo his points
