For something different on the Queensland forum, same rules as on the other forums, I ask a cryptic question and you have to guess where it is, the person who gets it right asks the next question.
I will start with an easy one
Another word for "Wanderer"

Ok, here's a nice obscure one.
"The first branch to fall dislodges a crow from its perch."

No, for it was not the first branch to fall.

I fear I have been perhaps too cryptic. More clues:
1. What is another word for a crow?
2. What would a branch on which a crow rests be made of?
3. To complete the puzzle, think about some of the very earliest rural branch closures in the history of the QGR.

I know the first one. Raven, isn't it? Other than that, I'm lost.

Justin, don't give up. You've solved the first part of the clue, and now need to decide between the two branch lines which start with that word.

The only one that really springs to mind is Ravensbrook. I don't know why.
I have no idea. I don't know any of the branch lines in Queensland.

Ravenswood. If I'm right, someone else can post a question coz I can't think of one at the moment.
Cheers,
David.

SP_Rules has it. Ravenswood. The first Queensland country town to lose its branch way back in 1930, and the 2nd branch line permanently closed after the white elephant branch to the port of Broadmount.
Open floor - somebody post one.
