After lying awake all night, I have come up with Port Fairy.
I don't recall ever seeing its turntable.
Once the turntable had gone, so too would the central crossovers, which is why I didn't choose this station earlier.

With a thumping head my contribution is Beechworth, another unlikely guess.

Rod has it with Port Fairy. The line extending in the down direction led to the wharf.

The extra track at the down end was the breakthrough clue.

I am away boating for a week, and have bypassed the other Victorian quizzes.
However John has announced a 5 week absence, and this quiz often moves more slowly than the others.
Here is another generic one, so I am offering it in entirety. It is another sketched at a club meeting, and I suspect that the topic was locking: annet, plunger and staff. Those features are marked on each diagram, and other features are missing. Because they were intended to illustrate the talk, they were fairly generic plans.

Hopefully this will go in under 24 hours. After clearing my e-mail in the morning, I can't rely on a facility on Wednesday; I am hopeful of Friday afternoon or Saturday morning, then Monday night. However, I may be tempted to extend the cruise.

Not Mornington.
The plan is conventional: Melbourne is to the left.

I have a cafe at Swan Reach (the free library), but may not get one at Mannum on Saturday.

The plan would have been contemporary, c1969. It was not historical.
I have travelled there, probably when it had that layout.

I am at an expensive internet cafe.

The station is/was a through one, not a terminus.

I am at a free internet cafe, but RATM is giving scripting errors.

This trickily-generic plan is not in the grey (eastern) wtt.

I'll also remove the blue (north-eastern) wtt.
I hope that this one doesn't stretch for the 5 weeks until John's return.

OK, I'll have a stab in the dark.

Dunolly.

I can tell you which stations it isn't, but that isn't the idea of the thread.
