Southern Star Rail has entered the rail enthusiast scene.

Southern Star Rail was formed on October 12, 2005 by rail enthusiasts. Areas currently being worked on are website, MSTS & Trainz, model railroads & a virtual railroad once the website goes online. The URL will be posted once the website is online.

If anyone is interested in joining Southern Star Rail, please leave a PM. If anyone wants more information, please reply on this thread. The only thing I ask is that anything posted must be positive.

What sort of things are you planning in the MSTS area? ( I presume this will constitute an important part since you posted in the MSTS forum) If you are intending to create content, can I ask of what nature and area it will be? Model railways too sounds interesting. Good luck.

Southern Star Rail Update for Saturday 5th November 2005,

As work on some of our projects continue, we would like to have more people become involved in order to complete them.

So far, we have only the three founders in SSR and would like to see more members join by the end of the year.

We have to decide on a logo from a supply designed by one of the SSR founders & to help us in this decision we would like to have more members. More information about our current projects will be provided when near completion.

If you would like to join, please PM me & one of our chairmen will reply with the email address to contact our P.R. department. If you would like more information, please reply.

That's all for now. Until the next update, live life to the extreme

Southern Star Rail Update for Tuesday 8th November 2005

After discussion between the SSR chairman & a member earlier today, the decision has been made to also include a forum as part of our website when it goes online, hopefully by the end of the year.

Also, we are still looking for more 3D modellers to help us complete our first project which will be announced closer to the release date. Anyone wishing to help may leave a PM & we shall contact you wih further info.

That's all for now, until the next update, live life to the extreme!

Should I move this to Armchair Operators? It sounds exactly like Tranzit Jim to me.

I see this thread as being a waste of time if progress is reported as how their organisation is organised. Also I did sask for a PM form this poster to confirm a few things. Unless there is real progress and real information, not nazarail type info - desist from posting. I tried to be fair by spltting the original thread.

Otherwise this thread is surplus, and we all know what happens if the mods deem a thread useless!!

At least he's not saying "As discussed, let me put it to you this way...". Maybe they're gonna blanket Victoria in two weeks!
