G'day
On Friday I saw ARG's 2206 doing the container run, this is the first time I have seen this loco work this train. Sounded awesome as she was ideling at lieghton and doing a bit of shunting.
Heres a photo of it at railfest this year: http://australind720.fotopic.net/p21603449.html

Forrestfield is allocated 2205 and 2206, there is 2213 and 2215 allocated to Kalg.
2206 failed to reverse at Sound cem yesterday. 2205 and 2206 are still under warranty from the EDI GO.

Who would have thought 5 years ago we would have seen 422's hauling container trains down at Freo?? I thought it was odd enough to see 8120 in all freight-corp blue (before repaint) back in the days NRC used to run trains down that way.

I think the majority of the 422's have been painted up and renumbered 2200. When a loco gets numbered, 9 times out of 10, they get painted at the same time.
The exclusion to this was 4011, which has been renumbered, but is in a VERY bad form of yellow.

The 2200 work the redmine service in Kalg, the loony lime is worked by an ALF and 3100, ARG dont have any CLF's in WA at present.

No just a single loco.
Kalgoorlie has the same problem as Forrestfield, the 2200 is not approved for Driver only yet so they cant be used on all trains..
Once they are approved they will be out and about more.
2206 is at Leighton today
