Hi all, Here is a link to view current projects that I am working on.
http://john3023.fotopic.net

H-type is nearly set for release, just waiting on permission to use a cabview from owner. It has just been fitted with animated doors and lowering step using the "panto" button.

Flexity is new and in first stages of construction. As yet I have no internal view as they are still under testing in real life. Due to the fact that the public can not that close to them yet it is built from correct measurements provided from Bombardier and photos sourced from various locations (thanks to all). I plan for it to have animated doors also.

I am looking for constructive feedback on the above models.

All the best,

John.

Hi all,
In building the SAR Adelaide and Hills route, I have provided a mile or so of tram tracks either side of the railway lines at Goodwood, Finsbury and Semaphore (to Port Adelaide) to enable train activities to include trams and vice versa. Riding a tram over the Goodwood flyover with a train (or two) passing through Goodwood brings back a lot of memories. From the looks of what is coming, maybe I had better extend the tram lines a bit further - well done TransAdelaide. Hmmmm.

John,

Not bad so far. You might want to consider using 1024x1024 texture sizes. That will reduce the jagged edges between 2 colours. Also use anti-aliasing or feathering with the marquee or magic wand tool in your photo editor.

Cheers,
David.

Hi all, sorry been busy last couple of months, I have just uploaded some screenshots of Adelaide tram H360 in original 1929 livery, as per tram of same number at St Kilda Tramway Museum. I have been having trouble finding and contacting owner of cab view I was going to use so I have been working on Creating my own from photos. I still need to track down another cabview author to use there brake and throttle controls.

All the best,
John.

Hi all, if there is still interest out there, I am continuing to chip away on the H type trams. There are some new screenshots in the MSTS Image Gallery of car 377 in gold with panto, and car 366 with trolley pole. Currently I have approached Matt Austin of Team Alco to have a look and provide feedback, and/ or improvements as his time permits.

All the best,

JW.

So how's the tram coming along. And on the subject, how are the 3000 and 3100 classes coming along?

The "H" is having a good going over by Matt Austin, the 3000 and 3100 need some interior work, the flexity will be continued after I have the "H" released.

All the best,

JW.
