More information will be required before anyone can help you. When you say it freezes, does train sim actually load the route.

Do you have all the Coal Road files installed?

X tracks or new roads are usually the culprit here.
Ensure you have the latest updates.

Could also be the old "too many consists" problem. Try using Train Store.

Im guessing you have version 2, but just incase, do you have version 1 or 2 of the Coal Road routes?

If it is version 2, did you install the .exe's in order? (ie: 1st exe 1st, 2nd exe 2nd)

Once you select the Coal Road name in the list, does it freeze straight away, or do you click start, and then it freezes?
