The best advice I can give is to download Route_Riter from Yuri's site and run the Check Route option. It will tell you if you have anything missing from the route, and will often correct this by copying missing files from other routes you have installed.

After that, go to the Activities\Stock tab and run the 'Check Acts for Selected Route' - That will check all of the activities for the selected route and tell you if you are missing any rolling stock.

If the route passes both of those tests, then it may well be that your computer just does not have enough power to run this particular route which is very highly populated and needs a lot of memory to run. I have had better results running it with the MSTSbin patch installed.

Gidday All,
I was trawling through some sites the other day and came across the Coal Road route. So I downloaded it and have to say its a beauty! There are heaps of great little surprises in it but I reckon the best bit is all the AI traffic. I'm still wrestling with the repeating horn issue and know there is a thread about the scalability values so I'll do some work on that. A very big thank you to Gavin for putting this superb route together.

Hi Guy's

Here is abit of a hint to install the coal road route
when I downloaded it I created a new folder
and extracted it to that folder and then I re-zipped it
and extracted it to my MSTS routes folder
it works quite well I have version 1 but I would
like to get version 2 because it seems to be better
then version 1

another hint is when you also download any file
from the steam4me site or Train-sim.com
right click on the mouse and select properties
and click on unlock and then apply and then OK
this unlocks all files in that folder this hint is for
people that may not yet know about
