What was the point of running BL32 up there???

It was required to move the stored wagons up there up and down the yard. All those wagons with roller bearings req they be turned every 100 days.

There were some track machines parked in the Albion grain loop, looking like they were ready to go late last night. Possibly the same ones?

Couldn't really see them, was going over the Western Hwy bridge at around 10:30pm or so.

Also saw all PN Wheelie Bin Green lashup P20, X44, X48(6?) on a freighter in Totty Yard.

Oddly though, 303 and 342 have left the ballast wagons in the yard up here. The rail train wagons have gone though.

The rail flats have been sitting in Melbourne Yard arrival sidings since Sunday, still there this morning.

The track machines were gone on Monday.
Yesterday X52? and XR553 came back from Bendigo. Thru Sunbury at 16:00ish I think? (I'm not sure but I am saying this because I am pretty sure I heard an X horn at 16:00). BL32 then appeared at 20:00 and played track ornament at Sunbury station for 5 minutes then powering off to Swan Hill.

Sorry about the dodgy pics, my camera batteries were flat so I had to use the video camera to take pics.

V/Line did have a mention on their website of track works over an extended period - have they been doing concrete sleeping like the Geelong line, or just tamping and picking up the old rail trackside?

I think they have been doing tamping.
Of note BL32 should now be in Melbourne after a visit to Swan Hill.
