The installme.bat file should have copied "crossing.sms" from the SOUND folder in USA2 to the Great Southern Main's SOUND folder. For somer reason, it didn't.
As Jean-Luc Picard would say - "Make it so."

Hey ARG709, are you saying we're all Gimme Pigs exept you or are you including yourself too?
The route is great! My only complaint is that very few of the sidings are named which makes it hard for those of us who don't know the area well to make reasonably acurate activities.
Otherwise it's up to Russell's usual incredible standard. What can I say........... OUTSTANDING!!!
Cheers,
Dusty.

During the Install I get the following error message;
Routes\AU_NSW_SouthernMain\TERRTEX\SNOW\TGG.ace and then won't let me go any further. How do I correct this error?
Thanks in advance- I'm itching to give it a go

Sorry to say this but I can't get this to work. I keep getting the message "Train World Initialisation Failed". I have Xtracks and newroads installed and I have followed the instructions on the Steam4me website, but the same error message keeps coming up.
Thanks in advance.

Train World Initialization Failed" means something is missing/corrupted in the \envfiles folder, so you could try
(a) running the installme.bat file again in case it skipped some files (the copy commands for the ENVfiles ARE present in the .bat file) or
(b) copying the \envfiles folder from \train simulator\template to see if that fixes it.
The Envfiles folder should contain 13 files dated 05-2001, the ENVfiles textures folder should have 24 files.

Hi Wayne Open AU_NSW_SouthernMain folder in the routes directory look for a folder named TERRTEX now you will see a SNOW folder and a whole heap of .ACE files.
See the .ACE files I want you to copy all the .ACE files.
Ok you have done that.
Now paste all those .ACE files into the SNOW folder.
Thats it.
Now you should be able to run the route.
Let me know how you went or any other faults.
I have just done a download of the route from steam4me and have found no problems it may be a little hicup in the web that has caused this.
Cheers Ed

Probably a corrupt download. Please check that your downloads are byte-accurate in size (that's why I post the file sizes on the download page).
The installers themselves are bullet-proof.

Hi Ed
The problem is that the installer didn't run to completion, so copying a few ACE files won't solve the problem if there are more files yet to be installed - I agree that "failed to load .ACE files" during running the route is a different matter and copying the files over would then work.
