No Thanks.
Compared to Joseph's combino this one looks like it has come from the Simpson's with the cartoonish textures and the wipers that suddenly change sides when viewed from another angle.
I must admit I haven't seen the original model which looks like a fair amount of work has gone into it detail wise only to be completely ruined by the cartoonish textures.
Not to mention the biggest amount of trouble you are in if you don't have permission from the shape designer nor if you didn't even crediting him with
designing the original shape.
Put it this way squeeky, if I was him I would be pretty smegged off and rightly so.
This poor guy has probably spent a few months probably individualising textures by the poly ,only to be destroyed by some egotistical testosterone overloaded 15 year old who takes the attitude that 'I'll do what I like and what are you going to do about it"
This attitude is obvious from the still up at midnight comment.
By the way who is the author pray tell.
I and sure probably a lot more here would like to know that as well.
This is a perfect example why most reputable 3d designers will not allow their work to be touched by anyone.
Either you can tell us all who he is or disappear into the sunset and then all will know that it has been a massive copyright breach.
Mmmmn I wonder whether Ottodad or Chuck over the pond have spotted it yet.
I it is ripped off , you have picked the wrong place at train-sim.com as it has a very big following world wide and word will get around very quickly.
Ask your father as well whether he can afford a litigation suit as he is responsible for your actions until you are 16.

I have seen the original model. It was absolutely fantastic and had alot of detail. What Sqeekazoid has done to it is a travesty to say the very least. Worst reskin evar!

(cough)

Yeah...sounds plausible.

(cough)

So, you could barely understand him, yet you were able to make out that he stated that he didn't want his name in the readme? Hey, if I came from Germany, I wouldn't want my name in a readme either! Yup, that logically follows.

Slow down, read the advice being offered to you by those who actually have a clue, and do the right thing. Then your enthusiasm may lead to your becoming a reskinner of note, rather than one who puts out ten-minute reskins which would have been cringed at in 2001.

People are offering help, you'd do well to consider it.

Cheers,
Matt
