I still reckon it looks heaps better in the SEC livery.
Reminds me of coming home from school in the mid 1960's in Bendigo.
Williamson st off to Lily st everyday for 20 pence or 2 bob return.
If only they had kept the whole system going as it was in Bendigo,Geelong and Ballarat.
The car was taking over as well as the oil and car company's conspiring to buy out just about every tram system in the world with the sole intention to shut it down as soon as possible.
Westinghouse . who ow owns Sony,Avco, GE, etc were the worst offenders even though they were building a lot of the tram equipment, now they make their billions running the 0 interest for 18 months schemes (ex Myer,Harvey Norman credit)and cleaning up on the defaulters .
I would think that very similar covert shut downs happened here in Australia as well seeing all bar Melbourne and Adelaide scrapped their systems in the 1960's..
The tram pack from Team-ALCO will arrive some day once enough vehicles are done so that you guys get value for your dosh.
Cheers
Ian

I think you can take Adelaide off the list. Just because we kept one line going against all the odds, we had a virtual whole system shut down like every other city. Yes, Adelaide's tramway tradition has been going on but only by the smallest of threads. Adelaide shut down all other lines by 1958.

Matt would be the one to ask there as he and Joseph atr the tram creators.
To tell you the truth I wouldn't know one class of tram from another.
Cheers
Ian

Does Anyone know where I can find the red version of R1 1971, that is seen on the website for the Adelaide route?
And is there any update on the tram pack from Team-ALCO?
Cheers
Commander
