Welcome to the 3rd "Where Am I?"

Please find below the rules for this quiz and the changes since the original rules were brought into being all that time ago.

RULES:
* Unlimited guesses per location, but only guess until told you are incorrect.
* Can't move on to next question until previous question is solved.
* If no-one got the 3 point or 2 point questions, and we are now on the 1 point question, people cannot answer the 3 or 2 point questions.
* Location can be station, signal box, yard, terminal, named siding etc
* Location must be within the metcard area (includes Melton, Sunbury, Craigieburn, and Stony Point).
* Location can be either open or closed. It can also be on a closed line within the Metcard area. Closed lines available for questions include but not limited to Webb Dock, Warburton, Mornington, Red Hill etc.
* Location can include area not reachable via normal passenger services - eg Brooklyn can be included.
* Any queries or situations arising not covered by above refer to a mod to decide.

Over to Pawanoro to start #3.

Why isn't this a sticky? Rolling Eyes

Is that meant to read "only one guess until told you are incorrect"?

I think you copied that from the previous rules, but it always seemed a bit odd. It could be read as though each question has a different answer. I think that rule could be dropped.

Let's clarify that, rather than have "etc.". How about "Closed lines available for questions include anything branching off an open electrified line (e.g. Webb Dock, Kew), plus the Whittlesea, Healesville, Warburton, Gembrook, Naval Base, Red Hill, and Mornington lines" (have I forgotten any?).

Williamstown Racecourse, Mont Park, Springvale Cemetery, Newport Power Station, Outer Circle, Rosstown, Inner Circle, probably a whole bunch of named sidings and more that I've never heard about.

Could we perhaps clarify it as any station, signal box, yard, terminus or named siding, open or closed, within the Metcard area?

Except General Motors.

So does that mean the grain sidings, or Melbourne Yard could be included?

I would suppose so. T411 already gave the example of Brooklyn being allowable.
