It went into a tunnel, and squeaked through its funnel, and wouldn't come out again."
Besides, blue is the only proper colour for an engine

wouldn't a railway.. or any transport company gain positive PR if they provide reliable, efficient and as for this case, safe service to the customers (commuters)
Or unless your telling me a train runs when it's colourful, bright and clean..
"Nexas" Hmm... Did you request permission from "Siemens™ AG" or "Siemens™ AUS" to use the term 'Nexas.' Tsk, tsk. The operator may have gone but the contract still remains the same. You'd just hope it isn't a trademark or a product name now would you.[/size]
The new livery is desperately needed - went past SSS tonight and alot of the fleet had the colours fading. It was just a bad PR image.
I think colours on a train is the least of the PR woes for V/line.. I mean if it was.. wouldn't the fancy eye catching Ozride Pink will still be upon us and kicking the goals of every commuter's heart?!

Or unless your telling me a train runs when it's colourful, bright and clean..which reminds me a episode of Thomas of the Tank engine, where James gets a brand new coat on the livery, and ends up having a fear of rain and dirt, obviously didn't want to have this brand spanking new livery runied and refuses to move out under the bridge.. oh man can you imagine the amount of "delay and confusion!"
Water restrictions have imposed an embargo on the operation of the geelong car wash plant, expect many dirty trains for a long time to come.
no capacity to recycle the water a la commercial car washers ?The plant at Geelong has a 'recycled water in use' sign on it but the water still has to come from somewhere to start with. Last time I checked Geelong's storages was down to 15%, and that is with about half to the town running off bore water...
Have any sightings of repainted Sprinters been reported?
I saw a Sprinter today which looked like it had fresh looking paint including stripes (down the side) which I don't recall seeing before. However, the colours seemed close to the existing Sprinter colours.
I didn't get any car numbers. I was shuffling around to see whether I could find a camera.
