My sincere apologies gents, I am sworn to secrecy until such time as the website is available under Google...Then they can't trace it back to me if word gets out... Embarassed I am told that it will be available "shortly"...

But, I have managed to "acquire" an artists impression of the locomotive shown on their website. HERE is the link...

Now, can anyone tell the rest of us just what the bloody thing is and where it comes from? Question

I can't find any sign of an artist's impression HERE

Last night you were directed to a European looking diesel that some thought may look like a Blue Tiger. That has now disappeared and of ourse you have seen what is there now. Now my question is if Freightliner is starting up in Australia why doesn't its news site refer to such an event. I fear this is all an eleaborate hoax.

Cheers

That's because that isn't the new operator, Bing... Razz

There is a website out there for the new operator I mentioned, but you can't find it under Google, so for me to reveal it will tell everyone who let the cat out of the bag. I have tried any number of Google searches to get the website to come up and it flatly refuses to. Mad

The ITSRR hasn't updated its' list of accredited operators since October last year, so I can't even use that as an excuse. Sad

Not as far as I can make out. I got a tip from someone who is in the know and in the same predicament that KRviator is in. Then KRv suggests there is a web site out there for a new operator. I didn't Google anything - I put 2 + 2 together and typed in www.freightlineraustralia.com.au and came up with that page. I didn't get it from any other source - some elaborate hoax, if someone put up a web page just waiting for little old me to guess the web address.

The reason there is nothing on the Freighliner home page is because I assume they really don't want anyone to know at this stage.

You certainly don't want to mess with Knuckles...

Bing, you would have to try quite a few different combinations of words to get the right address, about all you could use from the one listed above is www. and .com.au

Hence my silence on the rest of the info... Laughing

Once the info becomes public domain everything is fair game. But until then, I am keeping my nose clean. Razz

A search of the company freightliner Australia lists the following directors

John Mcarthur = ex Silverton
Catriona Scott = ex Silverton
Nalin Weerakoon = owner of the Freightliner Australia website

If this is not the new operator KRviator talks of, maybe it will be another new operator as well !

FreightLiner Australia is indeed Bing's scoop. It is not the new company that I was referring to. That is a completely seperate company with different Directors. Shocked

Which means the race to break the news in print will be on ! Do ya reckon you can sabotage the release date of the May edition of RD, so that Catchpoint can get in first with the news ?

Well, Bing ... can you do it ?!?
