Hi,
I am using Msts Bin version 1.7.1022 and I also like being able to see the whole train pass by.
I ran the XPT from Nowra to Central with no problems.I am using the Cab from the Seaview Express,I just prefer it over the Acela Cab and I have installed a nice passenger view from a Hungarian passenger carriage.
Any how it was a real buzz.
The next version of the Route sounds like it will be really good.

Regards Geoff

Hey Phil, you could also allege mine was set in the 1980s despite obvious features contradicting this. I don't really care, as long as I'm satisfied with it inthe end, and it makes a couple of people happy

Hi Phil,

I remember being at Stanwell Park in the late 1890's watching steam trains and having a surf, and the line ran down what is now Lawrence Hargreave Drive, right in the middle of town through the cutting in front of the hamburger shop. That's where the station was. We used to sit there and have a laugh at the drivers getting ready to go through the Otford tunnel. Brian's route has the newer, higher route so I reckon his opinion on what his route is based on is probably closer to the truth.

Not only are you having difficulty building MSTS routes, but you are also obviously having difficulty reading books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have every book about the Illawarra region railways that has ever been published - and I've still got a couple of newer ones on order to be picked up in the next few weeks when I actually visit the Illawarra. I'm going to be in Wollongong from 6th Jan to 18th Jan, and while I'm down there I'm going to do a lot of other railway research, to see if I can 'dig out' any other useful facts that I might not know about, that might help me to increase the authenticity of my NI route.

Have you ever travelled along the full length of the Illawarra line during 1948 to 1960? - Have you ever frequently hung out the window of an end-platform car watching and listening to the magnificence of a 38 or 36 slogging its way up the escarpment from Thirroul to Otford? - Have you ever walked along the line (and I mean actually walked in the 'four foot') from Wollongong to Bulli? - Have you ever bicycled to all the stations between Austinmer to Wollongong and spoken to the station masters and signalmen? - Have you ever walked the full lengths of the Corrimal Colliery and South Bulli private lines, and ridden in the cabs of the private locos on those lines? - Have you ever lived in the magnificent Illawarra region for fourteen years, and enjoyed all the delights this region has to offer?

Well I have !!! When you can answer Yes to all of these questions, then I might start to possibly even believe you - until then, you're talking 'out of your axxe'.

I was just saying that Brian's route isn't based on the 1950 to 1960's and yes for you information Brian I have been on every line within the cityrail network but I still got to get more pictures I already have the Illawarra done with photo's that is and since I am having trouble building my route there's no need to judge me for that at least I know how to do the City Circle not like some of you I practice before I had Xtracks and Newroads

Sheeshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phil, you HAVEN'T HEARD A WORD I'VE SAID!!!!!!!

How much clearer do I have to make myself - my Illawarra route

IS BASED ON THE 1950 to 1960 ERA

Phil, I LIVED THERE during this time period, I RODE THE TRAINS, I WALKED THE LINES. If you can't understand what I'm saying, then you really do have a problem!!!!!!!!!!

Phil, let's come to an agreement - OK

You stop posting rubbish in my Illawarra topic, and I'll stop posting rubbish in your 'all of eastern australia' topic - FAIR ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That shows common sense...

Hey Brian said this wouldn't work, I'll try it...

Seriously mate, you don't have a clue what your talking about, unfortunately for you the theory of light travelling faster then sound and people appearing to have common sense before they open their mouths doesn't apply over computers Wink

Anything can be merged. It depends on how drastic you want to be. If you manage to successfully do it, DO NOT publicise or distribute it for the love of god.
