Repainters should consider resizing the existing 512x512 textures to 1024x1024 and avoid the use of saturated colours to get the most out of this model. Depending on the mapping, using photo textures on the bogies may also improve the look of this large surface area.
If I am not mistaken, Australian Model Railway Magazine printed a set of plans for the NR in one of its issues. Does anyone recall which issue it was?

I'm quite happy with the 512x512 scale since i use that size alot. IMO
But I'll take your word for it.

In honesty, I'd haven't been getting those Magazine for ages, If i do end up finding some, then I'll see if there is.
