Were you being sarcastic or an Internet nerd in your reply to me?

It is sarcsasm, I'm defenantly not a nerd mate.
If that's what you are referring to. and besides that
A mate of mine that lives in Arizona came up with that O'rly and Quite Rly Routein into my head, which I can't fit a stick to take it out.

If you send me your email address, I can supply 2 sets of plans for the NR. Not sure exactly what the differences are (They appear to even have the same drawing numbers), they are probably identical...

Even though my plate is overflowing, I have been considering it for a while now. Thanks for the Issue numbers. I’m sure I have one (maybe both) of those issues. I will need to find those plans first and then mull it over. If I do go ahead I would be looking for a partner to do the textures. You interested? Smile

Yair, I'm game if you are Very Happy Photoskins would be the preferred medium, but I should be able to whip up something respectable freehand. Hmm, 2048x2048 textures would be worth looking at Wink

Cheers,
David.

I was just wondering if you knew that NR75 is already in the Ghan colours. Did you mean you would do NR74 as well as NR109?
Just a thought! Laughing

It's a shame Brentton stopped working on his NR after he gave up on MSTS. A new model is really needed.

Doesn't matter. We aren't worse off with his absence IMHO

He created and publicly released quality freeware models, answered other MSTS users questions, had a no nonsense attitude, was articulate in his communications and had a sense of humour to boot.

As the number of MSTS content creators for Australian content is small, any loss makes us all worse off.

That is a shame to hear Brentton has left the community, I enjoyed running his 4000 class around with the 2800s and GATX wagons around various routes.

Its been said before, but the Australian community is a shell of its former self.

NR74 and 75 were intended to be the Ghan-liveried locos initially, however one of them suffered damage in an accident (I think 74) so 109 was quickly requisitioned for the inaugural train.
