I see. Confused

I'd redone and renumbered 2 NR's already

NR75 with Steve Irwin's Name plate on it.
And NR109

Looks OK so Far. Smile
Shame noone made the GHAN passenger for MSTS, I could've use these 2 locos and the GHAN cars for it's preview. Smile

If I am not mistaken, Australian Model Railway Magazine printed a set of plans for the NR in one of its issues. Does anyone recall which issue it was?

Issue 219, December 1999

and Issue 221, April 2000.

This is interesting, I didn't know plans for the NR class were available. Razz

Would you like fries with that? Laughing
just kidding.

I'm thinking of doing NR26 in it's IP livery.
But The difficult part on that is it needs another headboard on the sides. Shocked

No, just water! Laughing Laughing

It would be great but I wonder if you would mind doing NR25 instead. I'm rather attached to NR25. Anyhow, good luck with the re-skin!

Well done savy3801. Looking good as usual! Laughing
I'm glad you are doing NR25. How are they coming along, I would think the IP skins are hard to do!?

For the IP NR's you would probaly have to add the sideboards in as a freight animation, unless you have the original file.

A year or two ago i skinned NR25 & 28 in IP livery, but i've lost the files Sad .

Change the bogie texture to a photo texture and the same for the cab windows. And with your PacNat skins grimy them up like the real ones.

I don't have the TSM Project file since I'm not the one who made the model. If I did had a TSM Project File for it, Then that would be easy as a piece of cake.

I did say not the previous post but the one before that, It'll be difficult to do with the one headboard.

Unless the model maker of these NR's would be happy enough to at lease Make a new sideboard for the IP liveried NR's

That would be a great worth looking forward to do.

Stephen.

I'd already done the reskin of it.
Here's the pics

3 views of NR25,
It WOuld be better with another sideboard in each side

NR25 and NR6 with a Goods on the BEST Route Of MSTS

It would've been HEAPS better with the Two sideboards on it.
Then that would really come to perfection.
Wink

Creating the 8 polygons for the 2 extra boards does not require the original TSM Project file to create a freightanim file.

As the NR model is accurate dimensionally this makes the job a lot easier. You may have to tweak it a bit but no more than an hours work for the geometry.
