As you can see
I'd came to show a good "preview only" of NR103

Sorry the front of it looks uncorrect, especially the top front of the engine.

this is only a preview only, that's all.
Smile

I Might Not be a Battered Sav that you get from a Take-Away Food shop , But I'm a big fan of the 3801.

It's a shame Brentton stopped working on his NR after he gave up on MSTS. A new model is really needed.

In case someone is interested in what it looked like, here are shots of his QR 4000 class which has less
detail than the NR!

Repainters should consider resizing the existing 512x512 textures to 1024x1024 and avoid the use of saturated colours to get the most out of this model. Depending on the mapping, using photo textures on the bogies may also improve the look of this large surface area.

If I am not mistaken, Australian Model Railway Magazine printed a set of plans for the NR in one of its issues. Does anyone recall which issue it was?

I'm quite happy with the 512x512 scale since i use that size alot. IMO
But I'll take your word for it.

In honesty, I'd haven't been getting those Magazine for ages, If i do end up finding some, then I'll see if there is.

Sav.

As I didn’t understand your Quite Rly image I had to do a google search and found the following.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=quite+rly

1. o rly = Means Oh Really?Often used with a white owl, occasionally decked out in different costumes for uses such as "Quite Rly" (With a monocle and pipe) Often used for sarcasm or just to be an internet nerd.

Were you being sarcastic or an Internet nerd in your reply to me?

Even though my plate is overflowing, I have been considering it for a while now. Thanks for the Issue numbers. I’m sure I have one (maybe both) of those issues. I will need to find those plans first and then mull it over. If I do go ahead I would be looking for a partner to do the textures. You interested? Smile
