NSWGR Class 19
21,000 polys with a 10,000 poly tender, 24 frame fully animated inside valve motion.
For the big (1600x1200) rendered picture of the model:

I'll do some screenshots of it running later this week.

That looks fantastic Paul. Apart from 1916, any idea what other numbers you might do, or will this be a one-off?
If you need any more reference photos, I have a few on my website here
Mr. Anderson... surprised to see me?

I'll do one with the other cab style and possibly the bogie tender (but not immediately) - the road numbers will be up to the reskinners
Thanks for the extra pics Chris - They'll be a great help with the final check of the model.

Hi Paul,
That is a fantastic model and the detail is incredible. I hope you will pardon my ignorance, but is this engine the same class as "The Betty" #1919 up at Glenreagh on the GMR?
I have made a start on the Glenreagh to Dorrigo line but am having troubles matching the real life gradient of the track from the bridge up through the mountains and tunnels to the DEM data I've obtained. I'm wondering whether to landscape the route by hand.
Cheers,
Rob

You have a curve/gradient chart and markers I take it? Never lay a metre of track without them

Yes - The Betty is one of these.
I would need to do a special version to re-map the textures for that livery.

Can anyone spot the very subtle difference in the 2nd image compared to the 1st?

Lowndes, does that engine in your avatar always have a face or was it strapped to the front for that actual run?
