Mile End, Wed 17:15. NR13, XRB562, NR55, northbound. Held for a eastbound that would have gone through at about the same time.

Any advice as to the consist of the eastbound would be appreciated.

Hi all,

2K21 Mindarie sand train passed through Lynton at 21:06 with GM38(idle)/GM37(powering) with 16w of which 9 were loaded with containers. GM37 was making hard work of the train and sounded impressive.

Nothing was wrong with GM38. I would say the crew wanted a quieter trip plus the load was under that for a single GM through the hills.
