I have heard that uploads will be to one site, and one site only, and content cannot be removed. This is only a rumor at this stage. I most certainly hope that this is untrue, but if it is true then it would make things interesting.

It would be good if a content manager could be included similar to that provided in Trainz.

if it is like FSX then most systems will struggle at first.
But i must say that when you goto FSX from FS2004 you won't want to go back. This is something that i am sure we will experience with MSTS2.

The quality of everything in the Press Kit is outstanding. I'm really looking forward to the future release of this.

After viewing the video about creating Rail Networks in the kit, I'm curious to know more about it, and how much easier it's going to be for average users to make Routes and the like. Same goes for building of models and rolling stock, and what external apps (if any) can still be used (eg: 3DSMax, GMax, etc.)

From the images, it looks like there may be a similar thing to Flight Sim where Loco numbers can be specied, based on the images of the Norfolk Southern Loco with the number "0000". Looks like this is a field similar to the tail numbers on the planes in Flight Sim.

Is there any Australian content in it by any chance?

Are there any maps of what lines will be covered in the Australian map of MSTS2?

From the video, it looks like you will be able to create tracks from just about any location in the world.

As for Australian Content, I guess we'll have to wait and see when more info becomes available.

I was in the computer shop yesterday and noticed that FSX has lower standard requirements then FS2004. According to the box, FSX should run on my 4yr old laptop, yet it does not meet the minimum spec's for FS2004. Maybe they will have simular spec's as FSX.

hopefully route building will be as easy as Trainz 2004/06.
Even trying to add track to current routes on MSTS is no where near as simple for me as Trainz routes.

How long does it take to build a route in Trainz anyhow? MSTS is well over 1000 hours!
