How difficult is it to do that effect? I'm assuming that you mask off part of an image and convert the rest, but what sort of photoshop program do you use?

Considering there is now a thread for it, here is one I did just last night as a tribute to the blue goose livery...
Photo taken by Warks.
Photoshop edits by me.

Pinching this photo from my "At work antics" thread, I present my all-time bst photo I've taken since I started on the job.

Leungy, That is an awesome image to use as a desktop. I wish I had some great train photos to use as my desktop.

Now I realise what can be done with Photoshop. These photos look really good with slight adjustments. Need to get myself a version.
Leungy, your one is excellent.

I know these aren't shopped or anything like that. I have recently used these as my wallpaper. I keep changing it though.

Well, may as well add one of mine.
Took this at Central's 100th 'Birthday'. To give it that drawn look i used a program designed to create HDR images (there was a thread on that here once), but 'overapplied' it a little.

One thing I usually do to my images before making them a wallpaper is to desaturate the colours (eg: tone down how 'bright' they are, making them more greyscale) I just find the bright colours distracting personally.
