A PURPLE EMU is ready for traffic on the Mandurah Line.

Their is also going to be a PINK one painted as well.

Please PM me when an ARG train breaks down at Thornlie or when Billy Bowden will umpire a five day test at the WACA.

This space for rent. Contact me for details and rates.

Any idea why? Purple almost makes sense as it's reminiscent of the Australind's paintjob, but is that the reason? Or will the SSR become the Rainbow Line? Laughing

A Pink one would tie in with the Breast Cancer thing that is running at the moment. Not sure about the purple one though.

Im leaning towards that this is BS seeing that the same author posted in another thread that taking photos at all Transperth stations is now illegal and the gaurds take a photo of you and pass it onto ASIO.

I will need photos to believe this..

Usually DA1578 seems to get a bit too much sun, but the purple EMU has been sighted by a reputable source.

The West Australian, during the week (sorry threw the paper out) covered a story which featured in Inside Cover, of an advertising train which is under plastic wraps at the moment.
So some of you guys are aware of it's present location??
This train is to travel up and down the Mandurah line as a promotion theme for the new line. So must be "Have the camera ready!"
