Sorry you had to wait so long, I was waiting from 1330 onwards and gave up at 1610 after hearing about the Hoppers Crossing incident.
It was through Corio at 1515 but ARTC held it at Manor for a while pending clearance of the incident site.

No photos, but spotted X39 (with extend-a-loo!) and A81, both in FA green, at the head of a container train ready to head out of Totty yard around 1750.

G514, EL54 on an down EL Zorro interstate grain!

Just got out of bed and got a text from a very good mate saying it was coming it got to Euroa at 12:30.
Due to speed restrictions near tallarook it ran a little later.

So i waited in the rain, and got an ok shot. with the small 3.2. im using it did ok.

Today Saturday 4.10.08

North East Sightings

-First was CLF7, G533, And CLF4 on an up(to Melb) QLD national

-Last for me was G516, CLP12 on down (to the border) QLD national.

wow 2 QLD nationals in the one day!

does anyone have train numbers for these???

Its not SM9 and MS9 as they don't run anymore, csyjunior is correct with the train being 5BM7 and the second one was 7MB7.



No loco in Australia works like an NR does!!

SCT009 and SCT004 through Moorabool about 1140 this morning with a short load. Also from yesterday A78-T400-T402 at Nth Shore log siding, At Nth Geelong yard their was another A class that had some Graffiti work done down one side viewable from the Highway.

G524 ran a down cement train into Geelong on Friday afternoon. Just a few years ago everyone used to complain about G classes being everywhere - isn't there only 3 of them on the BG in Victoria now?



Same day NR24 lead DL42 and BL31 westbound. It seems like it is always NR+NR combos on the Western SG. Evil or Very Mad

G'day all, just a small summary for the

NORTH EAST SIGHTINGS.

Friday 10.10.08,

We had NR85 new colour 'southern spirit' leading a DL and another NR on the up.


Today 12.10.08,

2210 lead the AK cars on the up to Melb it went through Euroa at 10:45 after crossing the XPT at Violet town.
