Hi all,

I've checked the in-game guide, but it's not helping.

Basically, when you choose a signal to place, there are the 'plain' ones & the (G) for gantry signals. What does (s) mean, and what is the extra light for?

Thanks,
Dave

Shunt signal, should be an adobe file that came with the game especially for NSW signals. Just look under extras when you start it up and up should find it.

Thanks Fred, however I tried 'CTRL-F' on the PDF file you mentioned, before I started the thread, and nothing showed.

So, does that mean that when using one of these, you can have 'Normal', 'Divirge', or 'Divirge+Shunt', or does it mean only 'Normal' and 'Divirge+Shunt'?

Nope, it means there is a "Show Signal Extended" rule on the DLS and you can set a "signal state" that is not normally available.

From memory, you can show "Slow Caution" or something like that, and you will have the signal at STOP and the Calling On indicator illuminate to permit a shunting movement past the signal.

Thanks for that, KRviator; I find that signals do nothing useful if you don't have the requisite number of signals beyond the block point or what ever. And I am sure I downloaded that NSW signalling guide from the DLS; I just can't find it.
