That's a bit confusing as you say its for discussions in those areas, then say its for discussions about sparks, and there is definitely no suburbans or electric trains to Goulburn, Dungog or Bomaderry  |

I'm sure MGH™™ won't have an issue either. It's up to the poster whether their thread about Endeavours at Bomaderry or Dungog get posted here or the NSW Forum, as I don't have a problem where that ends up. Same if you wanted to talk about RIC 48 Classes on works trains at Bankstown.

I think Maikha's original post makes perfect sense. If you wish to post about something in the CityRail area (i.e; from Dungog/Scone in the north, to Bomaderry/Goulburn in the south, and as far west as Bathurst), this is the forum for you - with the qualification that if it concerns something within those boundaries, but outside the Sydney Suburban Area (i.e; the area bounded by Cowan, Richmond, Emu Plains, Macarthur, Otford, Cronulla and Bondi Junction), you have a choice of posting either in this forum, or the "residual" New South Wales forum. For example, if you wished to discuss, say, trains between Lithgow and Bathurst, you might feel that it would be more appropriate to post in the NSW forum. On the other hand, if you were discussing, say, Newcastle-Telarah services, you'd probably prefer this forum, given that it concerns CityRail.
