Yeh, sorry wrong use of wording Embarassed

I'll change it to reason?, sorry, that was just the first word that popped into my head, I do realise its a fact of life that trains to get delayed etc...

The only time I have EVER been annoyed by it was at the bottom of the fly-overs at Central...stopped in a packed and smelly Tangara after a day out behind 3830 and 3830 I was exhausted...

They say things happen in 3's and today was definitly a case of it for the NS, firstly the fatality at Lindfield, and then not long after trains were moving on the up again past Gordon the break down also at Lindfield on Platform 1.
Then a sick passenger on a down service at North Sydney, all in all by about 11:30-12:00pm things were mostly back to normal.

Thats the problem with Lindfield, is the terminating road is a dead end. Gordon has way more flexibility in that regard, with the ability to get to the centre platform from any direction.

Yes very true, might take a bit of reconfiguration work, but if they could make Plat 2 at Lindfield bi di would help a lot.
Looking at it this way at least trains could be turned around at Lindfield so that was some consolation there, just not much help for those heading up the Shore from Killara and areas North.
