Where is this place and what railway features can you spot?

It looks like Heatherdale to Ringwood with the bridge over Eastlink.

Yes it is - the photo was taken from Mount Dandenong.
There are two more railway features in the photo, but I'll let people think about it before I say what they are.
Post a photo whenever you're ready MtBeenak.

How about another old one?  This aerial view was taken in 1946.  The suburban network ended at a station just out of shot on the right, while another station now exists at the site of the road under bridge at the lower left of shot.  The line has since been duplicated and electrified.

Is it Reservoir?

The other two railway features in the photo I posted recently are the new Mitcham station buildings, and two X'Trapolis trains passing each other although it looks like they're too far to the right.

It is Reservoir.  The photo is rotated 90 degrees and north is to the left.  Ruthven was built over the road bridge and the road became a footpath/subway.

Back to your photo: I just realised I was looking at it sideways and did not see Mitcham at the top or Heatherdale in the centre.  I only saw it on a mobile phone and only made out the cantilever foot bridge over Eastlink.  It looked like morning fog on the mobile!

Your turn again.

This is the original location for this station.  There was a second once electrification came through, and now it has settled into a third location with a two track mainline.

Montmorency ?

Location:
Yes.
It's probably almost 1 km from the station, approaching Sherbourne Road and headed for Eltham.
The photo was taken from Meruka Drive - at least 600m away.

Great photo.
Now, I hope I'm not breaking any rules, but I don't have photos ( Embarassed ), so I must declare Open Floor.
