What railway stations in AU and elsewhere have double names, like Wagga Wagga, NSW?
What about towns with double names. There is a Wagga Wagga in IIRC WA as well.
What about other people, places and things?
What do you call double names?
Is there a single word that describes double names?

The doubling of Aboriginal-style names might stem from the early days of settlement. It is certainly recorded among the Boonerwurrung people that white men in the early days enquired as to the name of a river flowing into the bay lapping the shores of their lands.
With a complete language barrier between the peoples it has been recorded that the new settlers heard the Boonerwurrung saying "Yarra Yarra" as they pointed at their river.
Now that we have interpretations of those langauges we know that "Yarra" itself means river and the doubling was merely thought to be for emphasis. Melbourne's river has fortunately escaped being named "River River"!

Excellent contribution, Thomas the Think (sicsic) engine. Woop Woop is a generic place name.
One might add fictious double names.
Also Edward Woodward the actor is kind of a triple version.
