I’ve just uploaded a preview of a new fund-raising DVD produced for the New South Wales Rail Transport Museum. Titled “Great Diesel Tours”, it features scenes of four memorable diesel hauled tours organised by the Museum. It features locos 44211, 4306 and 4201 hauling the Carcoar tour in July 2000; 4916 & 4803 working to Greenethorpe in March 2001; 4461, 4458, 4490, 4803 & 4916 on the Canberra tour in December 2002, and; the now legendary “Bulldogs to Mudgee” trip starring GM22, GM27 & 4201 in October 2000. All funds raised from the sale of his DVD will contribute to the restoration and ongoing maintenance of the Museum’s diesel fleet, concentrating initially on locomotive 4001. The DVD should be available soon.

Bevan, I greatly admire what you do but in light of current events may be prudent to change this title to "Great NSWRTM Diesel Tours". Other operators do run them too you know..

22nd November can't come quick enough...

I will definately be purchasing this DVD, is there any chance you will be doing similar items for other groups such as 3801 Ltd., LVR, ZZR, GMR etc...

Just asking because it would be great to be able to support these groups and being able to enjoy doing it that little bit more Wink

I note the crossing used by the cattle was not fitted with active protection (bells and booms). Just think of the carnage that could have occured. when is the Government going to do something about this? Razz

Fantastic effort Bevan - may well have to get a copy of this one.

Given that this appears to be a voluntary effort, I am amazed that others are seeking to tell you how you should be doing things or that you should giving up even more of your valuable time for nix.

It appears that people have also not bothered to note that its says 'Volume One' on the trailer.

You've got a hide to be butchering this thread with unnecessary beefs.

I won't mince my words, the DVD looks like prime eye with pepper sauce.
